1st Annual Wes Leonard Heart Team Red-Out Game

On January 6^th, 2012, the Wes Leonard Heart Team will be sponsoring the First Annual Red-Out Game in partnership with Fennville Public Schools.  The Varsity Girls Basketball Team will play Saugatuck at 5:30pm followed by the Varsity Boys Basketball Team.

Both schools will be wearing jerseys that are supplied from the WLHT just for this event.  The jerseys will be red and white.  At half-time and in between games, AED’s will be presented to area schools.  Your support of the red “Never Forgotten” t-shirts will raise money for buying AEDs.  That evening 5 AEDs will be given at no cost to the schools that have been selected.  By wearing your red “Never Forgotten” t-shirt, the cost of entrance is only $2.

Please see the adjoining booths that will at the game and purchase raffle tickets for prizes such as sets of 4 tickets to the Griffins Hockey Team.  Besides the raffle there will be many silent auction items to bid on.  Items will be given out for free during the evening, so plan to stay for both the Girls and Boys Basketball game.

Wesley Leonard has been gone from this earth for 10 months, but lives that are being saved with awareness and live-saving equipment may never be able to be measured.  Be a part of celebrating a young man that gave all he had on the field, on the court and in his life.  We love him deeply, miss him tremendously and seek to honor him by saving others through awareness, prevention or AEDs.  See you on Friday!
